These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Taskpath (the "Service"), operated by Metanol B.V., registered in the Netherlands under KvK number 92677355 ("Taskpath", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation.
Taskpath is permission-aware business-process automation that runs over your own infrastructure — email, files, forms and webhooks. Taskpath proposes replies and actions grounded in your own knowledge; anything that leaves your organisation or changes a system of record is presented for a human to approve. Your mailbox, files and systems remain your systems of record. We keep only a working copy of the content needed to operate the Service, which you can purge.
The Service is for business use. During the pilot phase, access is by invitation. You are responsible for your account, for keeping credentials secure, and for the activity of users in your workspace.
You agree not to use the Service to break the law, to infringe others' rights, to send unlawful, deceptive or unsolicited bulk communications, to attempt to gain unauthorised access, or to disrupt the Service. You are responsible for the lawfulness of the content you connect and the messages you approve to send.
You retain all rights to the data in your connected mailboxes, files and systems ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited licence to process Customer Data solely to provide the Service. As between the parties, you are the data controller for Customer Data and we act as your processor; our processing is described in the Privacy Policy and, where applicable, a Data Processing Agreement.
The Service uses AI to draft answers and propose actions. AI output can be incomplete or incorrect. The Service is designed so that consequential actions require human approval — you remain responsible for reviewing and approving what is sent or changed. AI output is not legal, financial, medical or other professional advice.
Paid plans are billed as described on our pricing page. Usage-based charges are based on work handled. Free trials and pilot arrangements may be offered at our discretion and may be changed or ended. We may update pricing on reasonable notice.
During the pilot the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our aggregate liability arising from the Service is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to comply with law. On termination we will, on request and within a reasonable period, delete or return Customer Data except where retention is required by law.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and the courts of the Netherlands have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
